It seems like a million years ago, but on one of their very first visits to North America, KYKLO Founders Remi Ducrocq and Fabien Legouic were invited to attend The Association for High Technology Distribution’s (AHTD) 2018 Spring Meeting at Coronado Island.

They were blown away by the warm reception they received. Quoting Fabien, “Coming here was like walking into a gathering of friends. We have so much in common with all of them – same industry, same background, and the same needs in life.”

After that meeting, KYKLO decided to join AHTD. And, at the suggestion of many of their newfound friends, KYKLO decided to become an active AHTD member and Strategic Business Partner.

Keeping with the tradition of active participation, KYKLO attended this Spring’s Meeting in Bonita Springs, Florida. This year KYKLO sent a record eight people to the Spring Meeting. The group included Remi, our CEO, Ryan Francis, KYKLO Chief of Staff, representatives from our customer success team and sales and marketing leadership.

We asked a few of the KYKLO team members attending what they liked most about AHTD. Their comments were a true testimate to the AHTD experience, so we decided to share a few in this month’s newsletter. Their words only reinforce and add to the growing legend of AHTD members...

Chris Kicior (Head of Customer Success) said, “I enjoyed attending my first AHTD. It was great to meet so many of our clients in one place. The organizers of AHTD made all the first-time attendees feel very welcome. I'm looking forward to the fall meeting.” 

Marine Vienney leads the KYKLO marketing group as the Senior Marketing Manager. Her position was newly created, so this was her first meeting. She felt the same warmth and depth of the AHTD personality. Here are her words: "As a new attendee to the AHTD conference, my favorite part was the first timers' reception where I got to meet KYKLO customers and partners. I am thrilled to report that so many members took the time to reach out to me during the meeting. I've heard nothing but good things about AHTD events, but the conference clearly exceeded my expectations. I can't wait for the next one!"

Ryan Francis, KYKLO’s Chief of Staff, has been attending AHTD events since the Fall of 2018. Over the years he has been both active and engaged. He too had a lot of great comments. "While it was another great event, for me my favorite moment was running into all the fabulous people who, over the course of the past years, have welcomed us to AHTD. The conference always has great locations, great speakers, but for me what makes AHTD so great is the members-- many who I now consider to be friends."

The truth is people are the best part of our work, and networking is an awesome thing. It’s great to have friends, and we are blessed to have many. At AHTD we literally have a "bus-load of friends". Those who joined us on The KYKLO Party Bus could probably tell you more. Thanks to those brave souls who joined us in Bonita Springs.
